The Renaissance humanists who worshiped the simple and pure forms refused the Gothic manuscript for being unreadable because it was too condensed and decorated and they recovered the Carolina form trying to synthesize the forms and write a letter in a single stroke to write faster, which made the alphabet to be inclined following the inclination of the hand, thus obtaining the first cursive alphabet of the West.

In this workshop we learned to make all the alphabet in this type of script using a dip pen, ink and paper.
